Frisby C of E Primary School Delighted to Receive £250 Donation from Ragdale Hall Community Chest
Frisby Church of England Primary School is delighted to announce that it has received a generous £250 donation from the Ragdale Hall Community Chest 2025. The funds will be used to purchase a selection of toys and games to help develop a new outdoor space for children to enjoy.
The donation comes at a perfect time, following a recent extension to the school building. The development meant that an area of the playground previously used as a quiet space was built upon, leaving children without a designated calm area to relax and talk with friends.
Thanks to Ragdale Hall’s support, the school’s Year 6 leadership team will now lead the transformation of a new quieter zone on the playground. With the funding, they plan to purchase items such as waterproof beanbags, mobile trolleys filled with art and drawing materials, colourful floor mats, and engaging floor games. The aim is to create a calming, inclusive environment that appeals to all children, from Reception through to Year 6.
Headteacher Charmaine Ainge shared her enthusiasm for the project:
"We are thrilled to have received a share of the Ragdale Hall Community Chest this year. This donation will make a real difference to our pupils. It’s wonderful to see our Year 6 leadership team take such initiative in creating a space where children can come together, relax, and enjoy meaningful playtime. We’re excited to see the finished area and watch our children flourish in it."
The leadership team is still in the planning stages, brimming with creative ideas, and can’t wait to bring their vision to life. The new space promises to be a vibrant addition to the school’s outdoor environment, encouraging connection, creativity, and calm for every pupil.
