Under the new framework, schools no longer receive a single overall judgement. Instead, inspectors evaluate a range of key areas individually. The inspection confirmed that safeguarding standards are met and that the school meets the Expected Standard across achievement, attendance and behaviour, early years, inclusion, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing. 

Inspectors described the school as having a "warm, family feel", recognising the caring and inclusive environment that enables pupils to feel safe, valued and ready to learn. The report highlights that pupils enjoy attending school, attendance is above the national average and behaviour is consistently positive. 

The inspection praised the school's ambitious curriculum, strong leadership and commitment to inclusion. Inspectors recognised that children make a positive start in the early years and that pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable children are well supported to engage with learning and achieve well. The report also celebrates the wide range of opportunities available to pupils, including leadership roles, community involvement, sporting activities and experiences that help prepare them for life beyond the classroom. 

The report recognises that leaders have established a clear sense of unity across the school, with staff working collaboratively to continually improve outcomes for pupils. Governors and trustees were also praised for providing effective support and challenge as the school continues its improvement journey.

Our pupils, staff and families have worked incredibly hard together, and we are proud that inspectors recognised our warm, inclusive ethos, strong relationships and high expectations for every child."

"This report reflects the strengths of the school community and the dedication of everyone who works at Frisby. Inspectors recognised the positive culture, ambitious leadership and strong support provided for pupils. We welcome the identified next steps, which leaders have already prioritised as part of the school's ongoing improvement plans." 

Inspectors identified one area requiring further development to ensure greater consistency in teaching, particularly in strengthening early reading, writing and challenge for higher-attaining pupils. The report recognises that leaders have already identified these priorities and have clear plans in place to continue improving teaching and learning.
