WHAT IS AN OFSTED INSPECTION?
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. Ofsted is responsible for inspecting a range of educational institutions, including state schools and Academy Schools. The way in which Ofsted inspects schools has recently changed (September 2019) and will involve assessing the schools' curriculum 'intent, implementation and impact' along with the quality of the education delivered.
